Frequently Asked Questions:

♦ Do I have to sign up on the website in order to ask or answer questions?

 In order to post an answer to a question on the site, yes, you need to register on the website. The registration is easy and will only take a minute to complete. However, anyone can post a question without necessarily registering; you can ask your question anonymously.

♦ Does it cost anything to sign up on your website? 

Not at all. The registration and the membership are free for all users!

♦ What do I click to sign up?

Navigate to the top right-hand corner of the page and click Sign Up.

♦ Will I get an email confirmation after I finish?

Yes, you will get an email confirming your registration and asking you to verify your email address with which you registered. It's just a formality and verifies that a 'real person' just registered. That is why your email spelling should be correct on the registration page.

♦ Do I have to provide truthful personal information?

It's better if you did but if you wish to remain incognito, you are free to do so, just make sure your email is correct and not mistyped. You can always use an alias or a nickname when you register. But we definitely recommend true personal information.

♦ What if I don't want to type my full address?

Then you don't have to do that. You can simply ignore that field (or type a different address). The website is for students or people to ask questions (about academics) and to be able to receive answers to their questions. Your questions or answers will help many other students and people who are thirsty for knowledge.

♦ Can I ask a question about something not academic or school related?

No. We want to keep this website strictly for academic questions and school related subjects. Math, English, Science, Computers, Accounting and the likes are the only subjects you should consider.

♦ Do  I get an email notifying me that my question was answered?

Yes, but it is not automatic. To receive an alert to your email, you need to "Subscribe to Answer Alert" after you log in to your profile (Login is required) and click a question, then when you go to the bottom of the question frame, you'll see the tabs:

Find Interesting - Email to Friends - Bookmark - Subscribe to Answer Alert 

Click: Subscribe to Answer Alert. 

♦ Once I'm registered, am I free to provide answers to questions that I see posted?

Yes. If you know the answer to a question one hundred percent, then we encourage you to write an answer. It will be published immediately.

♦ What if I see an irrelevant question or a mockery question, can I do something about it?

Absolutely! And we urge all users and site visitors to report to us any abusive question that you see posting on the site. Just click the special button on the page. We will review the question and decide what we want to do with it. If we deem it necessary, we will delete that question from our database. The same goes for answer that you see irrelevant or abusive.

♦ Why will someone post an abusive posting on the site?

Anybody can log on and register with us. We can only verify their email address. We do not do a background check of any sort. Therefore it will be fairly easy to post anything, pretty much. So, please forgive us if you see something low on the website, but help us by reporting the profanity to us.

♦ Do you offer a lot of subjects on the website?

Sure. We offer almost every academic subject and topic that's out there, beginning in Grammar School subjects, High School, College Level subjects and Computer areas, Languages, Business topics, Leisure activities and extra curricular subjects and more. Just browse on the left the categories we offer and select the one you're interested in; post your question or discover answers to already-posting questions.

♦ I don't see Biology and Chemistry. Where are those Science subjects?

Biology and Chemistry, as well as Physics, Astronomy, Anatomy - all these subjects are in the Science category. They will be sub-categories to the Science parent category. When you click Science, it will take you to another page with those sub-categories listed. Click whichever one you need asking a question in.

♦ What is the deal with the points that I see here?

The deal is, you get points for every activity that you perform on the site. If you register, you get a hundred points, you ask a question, you get points, if you answer a question, you receive points as well. Points can also be taken away from your points balance. Once accumulated, the points will have a number but no value, really. We only do this to encourage registrants to be active in our site, and help others to receive an answer. We haven't decided if compensation will be part of the point level but it's good to keep tracks. Who knows, maybe one day we'll decide to do something with it. Or, if you, the User, have some ideas, you are welcome to submit them through our Contact Us link.

♦ May I provide suggestions or comments to the site owners?

Yes, you certainly can. You can comment on anything you deem unfit or unclear. If you see an error of any sort, please contact us about it. We will definitely appreciate your efforts in trying to help us maintain a clean and clear, error-free website. We welcome any suggestion or recommendation you might have. Positive feedback is also welcome!

♦ What about referring others to your website?

We will be more than happy to accept new members - students and tutors - to our little community. The more the merrier. We don't provide any compensation - the registration and the participation in the website are free anyway - but if you know friends or relatives, class mates and colleagues who wish to join us, everybody's welcome!

♦ Can I use the verification email address to contact you guys?

Yes, you can. If you feel it's easier to get in touch with us through the email message address you received from us when you registered, then feel free to use that email address. It's just as good. Just don't forget to keep that email message for you records and for our email address record. There will be no email message resent to you after you register with us once the original one was already emailed.

♦ What if I forgot my password or username?

Not a problem. Just click the Forgot Password link. They will be emailed right to you. 

♦ What is the membership fee to sign up on your website? 

Zilch - $0.00! The registration and the membership are free for all users!
