A kid accumulated $150.00 in 150 coins consisting of dimes, half dollars, and silver dollars only. Find the minimum number of silver dollar coins.

There are multiple solutions so I'm not sure that you've provided all the information in the question.

a) 5 dimes 3 half dollars and 148 silver dollars add up to $150
b) 10 dimes 2 half dollars and 148 silver dollars also add up to $150
c) 100 dimes 10 half dollars and 135 silver dollars also add up to $150

I could go on but there are too many solutions to go through them all.
