First question
After digestion you run your DNA in 0.8% agarose gel. you have 10x TBE and 10 mg/ml stock ethidium bromide. How much of each component do you need to prepare 100 ml of gel?
a. How much solid agarose do you use?
b. How do you dilute the 10XTBE to get 100 ml?
c. After melting the agarose and cooling it to 60dC, you add ethidium bromide to final concentration of 0.5 mg/ml.How much of your 10 mg/ ml stock do you use?
