How does one thank a reply? The email addresses are not sufficient, i.e., is it yahoo,com, aol.com, ... ?

Doctor Bob 		Thank you for such good responses. Another way we might solve this is to include our FULL email address after asking and answering a question. Let me begin. I am RevDrBob@aol.com

math_fanatic 		The only way to do it is to either post a new answer in the same thread (which the person probably won't see since we only get question alerts, not new answer alerts unless we asked the question) or to post a new question and all of us will get the question alert with the thank you message. I have repeatedly asked the tech people running this site to figure out a way to give us alerts when a new message is posted in a thread we've posted to but they say they are unable to do that at this time.

YummyCookies 		do mean reply as in thanking this person for his answer? if u want to do that you could just click answer this question in the section where it says ur question and just type whatever u have to type!
