How we compare the prediction to the real exons ?


1. The sequence below contains a gene from Drosophila. The mRNA of
this gene has been deposited in the NCBI sequence database.
Find it and use it to find the coding sequence and translate it into protein

2. Use the sequence below and try the Genscan web server at MIT to
see what it predicts for CDS. Compare the experimental data to
the predicted, mind that Genscan looks for coding sequences only,
it will not find non coding exons that might be present in the
mRNA. Using the Genscan printout map indicate on the map the “real” sequence contra the predicted sequence

I blasted the sequence in prokaryote site from this website but after that i do not know how to compare two exon.
