How would you solve specific heat?

please help me :)
here's the problem

m=8.0 g
Ti=42*C
Tf=45*C

we need to find the joule.

Based upon the information you gave, there was not enough information to solve for the specific heat or for the heat content generated. You need to either use the specific heat equation given two different mass conditions so that the heat capacity can be solved simultaineously from the two different temperature changes or you need to be given the amount of heat measured in order to solve for C.

The formula for specific heat is Q=mc(t1-t2) qhere Q is the amount of heat in calories or Joules (cal x 4.186), m is the mass, c the specific heat, and t1,t2 the start and end temps. From the info given, the specific heat isQ/24) calories p3r gram-celcius degree.
