The volume of a sphere is calculated as follows:

(4/3)xPIx(radius of sphere raised to power 3)

Volume of the Sphere V = 4/3*π*r3
where
r is the radius of the sphere
π=3.14 is a constant

Scroll down the page of the website above until you reach SPHERE. Virtually any formula can be found on the internet merely by asking the question in the narrow whilte space at the top of your screen.

As everybody said its 4/3 X PI X R^3, this you could get by integrating the surface area of the sphere. That is Integral of (4 X PI X R^2).

In 3 dimensions, the volume inside a sphere is given by the formula

\!V = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^3

where r is the radius of the sphere, d = 2r is the diameter of the sphere and π is the constant pi.

V equals 4/3 times Pi times cubic R:
4/3 * Pi * r^3

Mr. Albert
4/3(pi)times the radius cubed.

that is 4/3 times(3.14) times the radius times the radius times the radius.

Example if the radius is 10 inches.

Volume would equal 4/3(3.14)(10)(10)(10) = 5.19(1000) = 5190 cubic inches
