Can you help me find the adjectives or conjuctions in these two sentences ? Thank you so much!

My favorite snacks are grapes and carrots. I like the grapes are cold and they just juicy in your mouth. I like carrots because i like to hear them crunch. These are two good snacks.


My favorite snacks are cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. I sprinkle salt on each of these before eating them. The cucumbers have a refreshing and clean taste. While the tomatoes are refreshing and clean, the tomatoes are more acidic. I enjoy these snacks because they are delicious but also healthy. They are great anytime snack but they also come in handy before games or after practices.

jdrew39 		Adjectives are words that describe. Some examples are: (1) Long, red hair. Long and red describe the hair. (2) Large, blue eyes. Large and blue describe the eyes.(3) Short, slender girl. Short and slender describe the girl.

In your first sentence favorite describes snacks. What words describe the grapes in the second sentence? What two words describe snacks in the next sentence? In the next sentence what describes snacks, and what word describes tomatoes? What kind of taste is described in the next sentence? What two words describe the tomatoes in the next sentence. How are tomatoes described in the next sentence. In the next sentence what is said about the snacks......delicious..... and what is the other? What gives you added information about words describing snacks?

Conjunctions are linking words such as "and" . One example using and is: My brother "and" I have skates "as well as" helmets to keep us safe. "And" links my brother to '"I". "As well as" links skates and "helmets". Another example: I like peanut butter as well as almond butter. "As well as" links peanut butter and almond butter.

In your first sentence "and" links grapes and carrots. Your second sentence needs some changes. It should say: I like the grapes that are cold and just juicy in my mouth. "And" links cold and just juicy. In the next sentence "because" links "carrots" and "I". Now I am going to write down all of the conjunctions in your sentences, and then you put them into the sentence where the conjunctions are. I will not put them in order, so you will have to do that too, according to the words that they link. You might describe them as this: Your elbow links your upper arm and your lower arm. Your knee links your thigh with your leg.
