GLITCH WITH A TI-83 CALCULATOR

For several months now I have had a TI-83 calculator FROZEN with the entry: \" 182/14 13\" .
The rest of the screen is covered with splattered black dots. I have changed the batteries but to no avail. I experienced this in the past and have been able to experiment with various keys to bring it back to use. This time, however, I am getting nowhere. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

samzappala 		Check your ownews manuel; there should be a way to reset everything. On my hp48, I've got to be careful not to hit the on button when changing the batteries.

steiner1745 		Get out the manual for the TI-83 and find out how to reset the memory.
I once had a student with such a problem and that fixed it. Good luck.
