Personal opinions what are you thoughts ?

Voice your Personal Opinion in which you present your view of the practice of turning over more of our prisons to private companies. Is it a good idea? Bad idea? What are the hurdles to overcome? What are the advantages and disadvantages of private prisons?

I believe soley this is a bad idea due to privtae companies monitoring and overseeing these offenders ran by small companies can they really handle violent offenders? do they have enough on duty to handle these individuals? the hurtles that have to be over come is restaraning offenders keeping track of these offenders being mentally equipped having proper precaution procedures when handling extremely violent offenders the advantages of small prison are more funding (possiby) if backed by private owner or company and not subject to state/natl. funding or lack thereof, larger ratio of inmates to officers - more specialized attention and smaller chance of fights/riots breaking out, with the larger funding - more specialized programs to help inmates buil
