You need to know what kind of triangle it is. If it is a right triangle, which side is the hypothenuse. Once you know that use the formula: a2 + b2= c2 This is called the pythagorean theorem.

The previous answer is close, however the lower limit is side > a-b or 19-15 or 4 so the side is

4<side<34

To get a triangle, sides a+b are greater than side c. Using 15+19, the length of side c is from 1 to 33. So a+b is greater than c. In this case a doesn't have to represent the shortest side; c doesn't have to represent the hypotenuse, because this 3rd point can be to eternity.
